Natalie Lartey - Founder & Director

Natalie is a change who provides learning and leadership to those in environmental and humanitarian spaces that want to generate knowledge and communicate from a racial justice and/or post-colonial perspective. Known for creating tools and bespoke programs of work, Natalie is an innovator in her field, blending tried-and-tested communications and knowledge generation approaches with evidence-based theory, and lived experience. Natalie is a Research Masters candidate at Goldsmiths University, researching anti-racist and post-colonial development communications.

 

Simmone Ahiaku - Consultant

Simmone is a campaigner, facilitator and organiser who has contributed to environmental, social and cultural work in Bristol, London and across the UK. Simmone has worked on air pollution, divestment and climate justice campaigns. She currently uses facilitated workshops to explore climate colonialism, and examples of climate resistance and movements from the past and present day. Simmone is currently an organiser at The London Renters Union.'

 

Kowiyat “Mayo” Ajimobi - Admin Support

Mayo is a highly skilled virtual assistant, who possesses a wealth of expertise in managing diverse tasks that contribute to organisational success.

Known for an unwavering commitment to professionalism and efficiency, Mayo's primary goal is to alleviate her clients' administrative burdens, empowering them to concentrate on core responsibilities and attain their objectives seamlessly. With a track record of delivering results, Mayo is a dedicated professional who strives to enhance productivity and contribute to the overall success of any project or organisation.

 

Mary Ann Clements - Consultant

Mary Ann Clements is a Writer, Facilitator, Consultant, Activist & Coach with over 20 years of experience in 'international development' spaces. She has worked as an independent consultant with INGOs, funders and the public sector on issues related to anti-racism, funding, partnership, wellbeing and power. She is also a Co-Director of Healing Solidarity, a project in the practice of re-imagining the global development sector. She is committed to helping re-think the way we work towards a solidarity that heals, rather than perpetuates injustice in all of the spaces she inhabits. She is currently a part-time facilitator and coach and part-time Co-CEO at ADD International, an INGO focused on disability justice.

 

Damie Oladebo - Consultant

Damie Oladebo is a Racial Equity Consultant, with numerous years of experience in both the public and private sector. She holds a general law degree from the University of Southampton, as well as a master’s in Health, Law & Society from the University of Bristol. Although Damie explores several facets of racial equity, her prime speciality is in health inequalities, where she has worked with healthcare regulators, professional bodies and universities on the subject. Furthermore, Damie also spent three years as an advisory group member to the National Institute for Health Research’s Centre for Engagement & Dissemination and public contributor to the Race Equality Public Action Group. 

 

Joan Okitoi - Consultant

Joan Okitoi is a freelance communicator and writer dedicated to sharing the stories of women of colour in global development. Joan co-hosted the #Globaldev Communicators Connect, providing a platform for discussing power imbalances and global inequalities. Additionally, Joan contributed to Health Poverty Action's consulting team, focusing on identifying alternatives to the term 'aid.' Joan also leads workshops on promoting equity and dignity in international development communications for USAID. She currently works part-time as a communications officer at the Geneva Trade Platform.
